DRI Consulting’s search and selection services and products help enable hiring committee's fast, accurate decisions in hiring and promoting the right people at any level of the organization. Every organization wants to select the best people because the right people in the right positions means low employee turnover, increased employee and employer satisfaction and ultimately, an increased bottom line. Our selection assessment packages are based in the science and practice of Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and are the result of 17 years' experience working with over 100 hiring organizations and 5,000 people going through job change. The assessments that DRI Consultants use (see a list here) are designed to give the organization the clearest picture of an individual’s capabilities for a particular position by assessing the relevant skills and individual characteristics of the candidate.
In order to respect the busy schedules of our clients and make the selection process efficient, clients take the assessments via the internet. Once testing is completed, clients receive 100+ pages of descriptive narrative of the results and a 3-5 page summary outlining the candidate's strengths and developmental areas with a bottom-line suggestion regarding employment (See a sample summary here).
Unique to other organizations, DRI Consultants also ask the candidate to comment on the summary report prior to submitting the final draft to the hiring committee. Once a hiring decision is made, DRI Consultants provide a 1-2 hour feedback session to the chosen candidate to review that person's assessment results and highlight key areas of strength and needs for development in relation to the new position. This valuable feedback helps the new hire to "hit the ground running" with greater awareness of his or her own work personality in relation to the needs of the hiring organization.
